Nickel Creek announced they’ve added a few extra stops to their massive 2023 tour. I shared that I was planning to go on tour in . Celebrant – It is the band’s fifth studio project and first new album since 2019. The group was originally scheduled to finish their US run on June 17 after three sold out at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Telluride, Colorado. The revised tour schedule features 22 new dates from July through October.
The roster’s first new show will take place July 7 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon, and will feature support from singer-songwriter Monica Martin. On July 8th, Nickel Creek will head to Bend, Oregon for a one-night-only gig with Hayden Holmes at her amphitheater. On July 11th, the trio will hit the stage for a show at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, followed by a set in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 12th. Newly added date runs in Michigan, Ontario and North Carolina. On July 24th he will perform at The Coves Amphitheater in Union Hall, Virginia, and on July 27th he will perform at the Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards in Lafayette, New York.
The ensemble will perform at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA on October 6th, and will be back with new dates. Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. It will then close out the month with additional shows in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado and Kansas. They wrap up their tour with two nights at the Lone Star State, where they’ll play at the Majestic Theater in Dallas on October 20th and at the Moody Amphitheater in Waterloo Park on October 21st.
VIP and GA tickets for the newly added tour dates will go on sale on Thursday, March 23rd at 10am on the band’s website.
