At Spotify, she Davis-Lyons has honed her modern, social approach to marketing across a range of projects, including her Wrapped, the world’s largest marketing campaign that reaches hundreds of millions of people each year.
He brings that same modern approach to Mother, where he oversees the creative output of clients such as Target, Dave & Buster’s, Amica, and Panera.

Commenting on his move, Oriel said, “To me, Mother has always felt less like an advertising agency and more like a place where creativity is the core product and good advertising is just one of the ways it can appear in the world. The hyphenate approach to creativity is the way I’ve always felt most comfortable working, and now we’re building an environment that embraces it, where the world’s best creative people I’ve had the opportunity to empower you to do the kind of work you can’t do anywhere else.”
“Oriel’s vision for our industry has a pull you can feel. He is an entrepreneur at heart, with a proven track record of harnessing his creativity to change the world, and the greatest believer in the next generation of talent. These special traits are at the core of Mother’s difference and it is our privilege to witness how his vision impacts the future of our business,” said Mother in said Teri Miller, president and partner of the US.
“Every decision we have made this year is to make Mother a creative company for the next generation. It means having creative output, and a group of people who put each other first.Oriel Davis-Lyons is the perfect leader for the next chapter of Mother.”
