AUSTIN (KXAN) — Morgan Warren has postponed his Austin tour dates and other tour dates by six weeks for a vocal break. Country singer posts on social media Tuesday.
In the video, Warren said fans can expect shows from the ‘One Night at a Time’ world tour to be rescheduled. Austin’s show was scheduled for May 24 at the Moody Center.
“We are working on rescheduling all dates within this period. It’s almost done,” Warren said in the video.
In the video, Warren said a doctor recommended a vocal rest after an endoscopy of her throat revealed trauma.
Warren canceled a performance at the University of Mississippi in April, claiming she had lost her voice.
“They said if I did this the right way, I could get back to 100 percent. This is the choice I have to make if I want my career to last long.I hate it, but I appreciate you guys,” Warren said.
Warren was also scheduled to stop by Houston’s Minute Maid Park on May 26. He recently stopped in Florida three times on tour. His final concert was in Tampa on Sunday, May 6th.
If Warren is able to return to the stage within six weeks, his first show will be in Chicago on June 22nd.
