Country singer Morgan Warren has canceled six-week tour dates after suffering a horrific health problem.
Warren, who was on the One Night at a Time World Tour, said doctors told him he had re-injured his vocal cords and would be forced to rest.
“I’ll tell you what’s going on in a moment. Yesterday I received bad news from a doctor at the Vanderbilt Voice Center,” Warren said in an Instagram video.
“After taking 10 days off, I played three shows in Florida last weekend, and by the third time I felt terrible.
“So I went in yesterday and had an endoscopy and they said I damaged my vocal cords and had vocal cord trauma.
“Their advice is to give me six weeks of vocal rest. That’s what I’m going to do. They want me not to talk at all, but things like this I said it would be okay if I needed it.”
