According to pitchfork.com, the bands Modest Mouse and Pixies have announced that they will embark on a co-headlining North American tour with the support of artist Cat Power. Each tour will take both bands across the continent this summer.
Modest Mouse and the Pixies will visit Massachusetts, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado, Idaho, Washington, British Columbia, Oregon and conclude in San Diego.
The 25th anniversary tour for the 1997 album recently sold out. lonely crowded west, Modest Mouse remains one of the most consistent live acts to this day.Also, the band released their latest new album golden coffin From Epic Records, June 25, 2021.
The Pixies are regarded as one of the most influential and pioneering bands of the late 80’s alternative rock movement, influencing artists such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, The Strokes, Weezer and many more.
Pixes also announced that the third North American leg of the year will also be their final leg. 2022-2023 World Tour It will start in March 2022 and end in September 2023.
The tour saw the band sell out in North America, the UK, Europe, South America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
