Michigan Center, Michigan, Michigan – Six candidates will be interviewed for the two vacant seats on the Michigan Center Board of Education at a meeting on Thursday, April 6.
The interview is scheduled to take place at 400 S. State St. in the Overseer’s Office at 6:00 PM.
Interviews are with Kyle Stoker at 6:00pm, Brian Maters at 6:15pm, Jennifer Crabtree at 6:30pm and Chad Whiteacre at 6:45pm.Robin Wright at 7pm, Amanda Stevenson at 7:15pm
Superintendent Brady Cook said meetings will be moved to the high school cafeteria if there are more than 10 people in attendance.
Former Board Chairman Mike Edwards and Trustee Rex Blakeman, who announced their resignation at the March 13 Board meeting, are being interviewed to fill the vacant Board seat.
Edwards cited health reasons, but Cook said Blakeman’s resignation was related to “various work obligations.”
