To celebrate the release of “State Of Disaster,” the band released a lyric video for the track “Illusion.”
‘State Of Disaster’ is Torrential Thrills’ most prolific and ambitious album to date. With 11 tracks and over an hour of new material from him, the album has been in the works for over five years.
Work initially started with pre-production and guitar/vocal tracking with Mitch ‘O Shea, then with Matt D’arcy at Mt Buller’s Basin Studio, with Matt Robins at Altona’s Coloursound Studio, and Chris Themelco at Monolith Studios. Tracking was done at various locations.
True to TT’s format, much of the album’s content centers around hardships and the constant pursuit of human power. There is also another element of reflection, sacrifice and personal loss.
