Kylie Minogue Reveals Release Date for New Album ‘Tension’ – Billboard

Kylie Minogue is back! Superstar released their long-awaited 16th album on Friday (May 12). tension]will be released on September 22nd.

Minogue plans to explore her empowered and playful side on this record, as evidenced by the euphoric opening track “Padam Padam,” which will be the lead single released from the record. No release date has been set for the song yet, but it is said to be “coming soon.”

“I started this album with an open mind and a blank page,” Minogue said in a press statement about the album. “Unlike the last two albums, there was no ‘theme’, it was about finding the heart, fun, and fantasy of the moment and always trying to respond to that song. I wanted to dive into freedom, a mix of personal reflection, clubbing abandonment, and melancholic exhilaration, I would say.”
