The duo are set to release their debut album later this week, but before the album’s release, Kate Lamine released the bubbly, smooth single “Rebuke.” Overall, the song speaks to how Amine’s vocal performance speaks to how he refuses to move forward from an old lover while female vocalists chase after the rapper for support. Depending on where you are, it’s lovely.
Another great thing about “Rebuke” is how the instrumentation brings the catchy beats of soul and funk music. As you listen, each note fills your ears with a bittersweet sound, and Amine’s voice heats up the atmosphere with his musical flair.
