Casting director Kabish Sinha is passionate about both his profession and the actors who support his roles. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Kavish said he got into the field “just by chance.” For many years he worked in the fields of journalism, advertising, social his media his marketing and then launched as his director of casting in his own company.

He said, “I come from the advertising industry and by chance I met our mutual friend Shanu Sharma, the head of casting at Yash Raj Films. After working with Shanoo for a year in 2016, Kavish founded his own company, On-My-Kayroll. I cast Lakorn Mein Ek early in my career and it worked so well for Prime Video that I never looked back after that.”

His ability to recognize faces and background knowledge of the ad was also helpful. Kavish said finding newcomers was his greatest joy. he said: I don’t even get mentions. He continued, “This also stems from the question of whether we can get every actor we know. Too much work and very few actors to date these days. That’s what we’re facing. Kabish and his company want to break with that familiar relationship and look to other new talent. The casting director praised the young people who are joining the business these days who have been trained in several key aspects, including body language. Besides Indian projects, Kavish has also appeared in international shows like Slave Market. But he shares the need for a different acting style, which most people in India have turned away from. Kabish explained: “They want the Indians to carry that over-the-top feeling into the whole project. At times, he and his team face difficulties in trying to push newer talent.
