In less than two months, Allegany County will host major events centered around music, culture and festivals.
June 17th marks the second annual festival at Swain Ski Resort under the brand name ‘BaseCamp’.
Basecamp Festival returns for the second time to Swain Resort for a full day of activities and a great music line-up. On Saturday, June 17, the festival features free beer tastings, dozens of vendors, activities, and music from four bands at the base of the mountains at Swain Resort in Swain, New York.
The Basecamp Festival music line-up will feature roots and Americana music from the region’s most popular bands throughout the day. The festival’s headliners are based in Buffalo, PA lineThe PA Line brings its unique harmonies and grassroots sounds to the festival. The leading PA line is based in Ithaca, New York, cargo. Formed in 2020, Freight delivers original sounds and danceable folk rock to fans.Festival opening will also take place in Springville, New York kodi & Helen and the buffalo dense forest steve.
In addition to music, Basecamp offers fans chair lift rides, outdoor recreation, hiking, craft drinks, and a variety of local artisan vendors. There are also free craft tastings from 2-4pm. Basecamp also offers fans the chance to camp at the resort after spending his day in the mountains.
