JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown have released the title track from their upcoming collaborative album ‘SCARING THE HOES’. Check it out below.
“SCARING THE HOES” is a comical and rambunctious track that repurposes the duo’s negative comments about their experimental style into a hardcore hip-hop track.
In the chorus, Brooklyn’s JPEGMAFIA raps. “How did we think to play something for bitches/make money off this shit?”
Detroit’s Danny Brown then commented on the rap façade: “Hey fuck that hip-hop and that old man/Where’s Auto-Tune? Mind that garbage.
The alternative rapper also released a music video directed by Logan Fields to accompany the song.
Last week, the duo released their first joint album together, releasing lead single “LEAN BEEF PATTY” shortly after.
To build anticipation for the album, JPEG is dropping some home videos of the pair documenting the album behind the scenes.

For JPEG, “SCARING THE HOES” is one of three albums he will release this year. The upcoming album will be his first LP since 2020’s LP! NME gave it 4 stars, saying it was “quirky free entry”.
