Joker out in the “Demoni” music video. The band said he will represent Slovenia at Eurovision in May 2023 and their song will be released on his February 4th.
Slovenian ‘Chagadelic Softbore Rocker’ Joker Out has released the English version of its Eurovision entry ‘Carpe Diem’.
But if you like hearing artists perform in their native language at Eurovision, fear not! The band still performs the original Slovenian version in the competition.
The English release of their entry is just one exciting update from Rising Star, who are currently filming a music video for another new single in Liverpool. The next song featuring the legendary Elvis his Costello is “New Wave”.
The band was also recently named one of the Top 100 Artists to Watch in 2023 by the Association of Independent Music Companies (IMPALA).
Joker Out is 10th in the second semi-final at Eurovision on 11 May 2023.
The band says their song “Carpe Diem” is a call to “everyone who knows that life is more than what it seems.”
“This shagadelic dance anthem reflects the band members’ year-round gigging and joy in life,” they said in a statement. “The message is simple: whatever life throws at you. But music and dance are always the right answers.”
