Today was definitely a great day for singers, rappers and songwriters jelly roll.
As well as his debut country music album, Whitsit Chapel released todayBut he also ended up performing live from Times Square in New York City. Good morning America.
To say it was just a “good morning” might actually be somewhat of an understatement.
A documentary about his tumultuous journey to becoming a music star. Jellyroll: Save me will be available to stream on Hulu on May 30, and an appearance on ABC’s morning show allowed the CMT Award winner to promote both the film and her highly anticipated new country album.
It really all seemed like “Jellyroll is here” until the genre-crossing artist sent out this tweet earlier today.
“Zero sleep means zero sleep. I have a throbbing headache, sore throat, body aches and fatigue, but I’m still going to give everything I got at GMA this morning.”
God Bless Jelly Roll, because he’s a symptom (hopefully) and brought hellish results. Playing his hit “Need a Favor” live from the Big Apple.

He went on to say that he was looking forward to returning to his hometown of Tennessee, ending the short pre-song interview.
“Today is album release day. I’m drunk on Broadway tonight.”
Given the name of his new album, it’s a fitting “amen.” Whitsit Chapel.
