Jason Ritter can’t say enough supportive things about his wife and fellow actor Melanie Lynskey.
Lynskey has been in the industry for decades, but has recently seen a surge in popularity thanks to her roles in the critically acclaimed shows ‘Yellowjackets’ and ‘The Last of Us.
“I’m so happy. It’s unbelievable,” Ritter told E! News of the interview published on Friday. “She’s been great for a long time and never thought about anything other than her job. It was always the most important thing to her.”

New Zealand-born Lynskey got his first big break as a teenager in the 1994 psychodrama Heavenly Creatures. Since then, she has played supporting roles in shows and movies like ‘Ever After’, ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ and ‘Two and a Half Men’.
But it was her lead role in “Yellowjackets,” playing a suburban woman haunted by the horrific aftereffects of a plane crash, that brought her what Rolling Stone magazine called her “leadership.” women’s moments.
