good person Bringing in Florence Pugh and once again showing the world how incredible she is. Written and directed by Zach Braff, the film deals with the car accident that ruined her life, follows Allison (Pew) who becomes addicted to opioids, and how it fits into her dream of becoming a musician. I’m trying to figure out how it’s connected. There’s a lot to take in, and for me, it’s a movie that ranks pretty high among my favorites in Braff’s collection.
And for the film, I spoke with Zach Braff about making this film in a pandemic and working with Pugh, who he was living with at the time. One of which is his choice of music in his films. Especially since Ally spends a lot of time on the band t-shirts I want.
One aspect of the film that I really like is Ally’s love of music. Even her darkest times come through in her clothes. So I asked him about the connection between the band t-shirts in the film and the music that his films typically have. “Well, I have to give Florence and our costume designer Tele Duncan credit for the costumes.” He continued to laugh about the vastness of the shirts they were approved to use. .
“I was watching a movie recently and how did you get the rights to all these shirts? We certainly didn’t have the budget, but somehow we did,” he said. “But it really came out of a collaboration with Florence. The t-shirt came out of a collaboration between Florence and his costume designer.”
Music and Zach Braff
Most of his movies have incredible soundtracks.That’s why garden state‘s soundtrack is still considered one of the best.and good person There is no difference. But there’s an element to this movie where the music ties into Ally and who she is. So I asked Zach Braff about his approach to music in his movies and how he creates these soundtracks we know and love.
“When it comes to music, even if I’m not writing something, I listen to a song and I don’t know what it is, but I always create a playlist that’s kind of cinematic,” he says. He said. “It goes somewhere. It should go somewhere something. And I directed an episode of contraction These days, and maybe it ends with contraction Or make your own movie.
He spoke more specifically about producing the film’s soundtrack. “Of course we’re going to do 12 to 14 songs. What will they be? And we can try all of them,” he said. “You know, I thought with my editors where they were going, but you don’t know. And I’m not going until my arm hair is up, Okay, it’s a clear candidate for that moment. So it’s all trial and error and patience. It’s something. Something’s missing. It’s like alchemy is waiting to show up.”
