Nani’s Dasara will have a grand release in multiple languages tomorrow. Her debut Srikanth directed by her Odella, the film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukli under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. When did you write the screenplay? Did it happen before Langastaram or after Langastaram?
No, I had that idea long before Rangasthalam. This is a story I have heard since I was a child. Watch this movie and you’ll see what inspired me. Dasara is based on a real incident and based the story on it.
How did your cinematic journey begin?
After the 10th time, I saw Sukumargarh’s Jagadam. That movie had a big impact on me. It was from there that I fell in love with filmmaking. I contacted Sukumar sir directly and was asked to shoot a short film. After that, my teacher made me part of Nannak Premat.
What made you choose Keerthy Suresh? Why didn’t anyone know Telangana slang well?
I actively scouted Telugu girls for 8 months. When I spoke to normal people, they were hesitant to be in the film. Even Nani Anna said it would be nice to have a Telugu girl in the movie but I couldn’t find one.Kerthy has a huge grasp and she even dubs the movie. bottom.
Do you think viewers will accept Nani as a mass avatar?
When you make a film, you don’t do those calculations. What matters is how honest I am when it comes to filmmaking. The audience sees the film from the perspective of the story and embraces Nani Anna with a ton of avatars.
Were you worried about the budget and size of the movie?
I, Nani anna and Sudhakar Cherukuri Garu understand that the budget has increased since the initial schedule. The movie price was clear. I decided to talk about it and talked to Sudhakar Cherkuri Ghar about the budget. I tried to control the budget in some instances.
Ever wanted to shoot a movie on a live location?
We decided to shoot the movie in real locations, and we were able to find almost the right location. But at the last minute I had a problem with GO, so I canceled that plan. It also took 106 days to shoot.
Please tell us about your future projects.
I have some stories I’m working on. I have never discussed them with anyone. I’m pretty excited and nervous about tomorrow’s release as well.
