Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s next theater is Ravanasura, directed by Sudheer Varma. Under Abhishek Pictures and RT Teamworks he was produced by Abhishek Nama and Ravi Teja, with Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Bheems Ceciroleo composing the songs for the film. Sushanth, Sriram, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar, Poojitha Ponnada, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj played key roles. Ahead of the April 7th release, we had a quick chat with actress Farah Abdullah.
What happens to your character in Ravanasura?
He plays lawyer Kanaka Mahalakshmi in Ravanasura. It is different from the one played by Jaathirathnalu. Kanaka Mahalakshmi is a serious lawyer. Ravi Teja plays my Senior Lawyer. There are many variations of the role that I play and it depends on the plot of the movie.
Five heroines appear in this work. How about a combo scene with them?
There is only a combo scene with Mega Akash. All five heroines play completely different roles in this film. I played an important role in Ravanasra with room for performance.
What kind of homework did you do for your lawyer character?
Less courtroom scenes. The lawyer’s background will be important. Kanaka Mahalakshmi, who I play, is a married woman and her body language needs maturity. She should think differently.
How was your experience working at Ravi Teja Garu?
Working with Ravi Teja Garu was great. He is inspiring not only as an actor, but also as a person. You can learn a lot from him by talking to Rabbi Teja Gul during Shotgap.
What was your reaction when you heard the story?
Writer Srikanth gave us the narration. I was so excited when I heard the synopsis. Director Sudheer Varma is very clear about what he wants.
You are very selective when it comes to movie selection. can you talk about that?
I don’t want to shoot too many films in a short period of time. I have a clear idea of what I want to do. I know where I stand in the next five years. Therefore, I am in no rush to choose a movie. I have no regrets, nor am I worried about whether I will get the chance.
Please tell us about your future projects.
We are currently making films in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. Several other projects are in the discussion stage.
