of John Wick The franchise is easily one of my favorites.And now Keanu Reeves’ action series is back in a big way with Opera John Wick: Chapter 4 (Check out our review). This movie excels in everything that makes these movies work. Watching Reeves and friends play in this wild world is thrilling. This time, the actors are joined by legendary action stars such as Hiroyuki Sanada, Donnie Yen and Scott Adkins. This is a great team. The cast also includes regulars Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and of course the wonderful Lance Riddick. Bless his family and friends. And finally, it’s great to see Bill Skarsgård, Shamiye Anderson, and the lovely Rina Sawayama involved in madness.
Recently, I had the perfect opportunity to chat with some of the people involved. First, we spoke with the incredibly talented filmmaker, stuntman, and Mr. Chad Stahelski. He went into this fourth chapter and talked about how the series progressed. It’s a nice approach that certainly works. He also talked about world building going into this series. we continue to do it. Look for more from this great fellow this Friday.
Next, we spoke with the legendary Hiroyuki Sanada and the talented Shamier Anderson. The two spoke respectfully about working with Stahelski and Reeves and the level of talent involved in the project. For Chamier, he confides in working with dogs as he is another dog lover as the character “Tracker.” Hiroyuki then talked about working with her co-star, Rina Sawayama, and her father-daughter chemistry. The cast here is perfect, and yes, John Wick: Chapter 4 is an absolute must-see. It hits theaters near you this weekend.
