Self-produced by the band and recorded almost entirely in just two days with engineer Mark Needham (Taj Mahal, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Walk the Moon, Fleetwood Mac), The Voice It is positioned as The Cold Stars’ most mature and eclectic collection. Yet it balances gritty muscles and tender emotions in equal measure. The band released multiple videos from the albums The Joy, Nothing But The Blues, Throw That Stone, and Got No Right (live).
“We approached ‘Voices’ thinking that each song was an idea for a movie.” Mr. Tap will explain. “I think they still work well together, but they offer the listener a bit more of a journey through the course of the album than what they’ve offered so far.”
