Clips are short-form Spotify videos created by artists to tell their fans more about their music. Here’s a guide to putting clips on Spotify.

Clips are like TikTok, but inside Spotify itself. Videos are designed to be attached to albums or individual tracks, allowing users to stream music immediately after viewing.
You can shoot yourself revealing more about the release or give us updates. Clips remain in your profile until you delete or replace them.
How to make a clip on Spotify
- After creating your video, log in to Spotify for Artists on your desktop or mobile device.
- hit create a clip Card or desktop click video.
- go to upload video Click to select a video.
- Formally, the clip must be MP4, vertical, 3-30 seconds long, 1280 pixels high, and at least 1080 pixels wide. Learn more about dos and don’ts for Clips content here.
- Edit video details. Tag your release, describe your clip with captions, choose a thumbnail image, and flag inappropriate content. If you don’t tag your release, Spotify Clips will be attached to your artist profile by default.
- Read and agree to the terms of use and you’re done.
- Submit your clip so you can view it video dashboardClips are displayed in the order they were uploaded. Click a thumbnail to delete a clip, view metadata, or check clip status.
Who Can Create Spotify Clips?
Spotify is rolling out clips to all artists on the platform. As of this writing, thousands of artist videos are available to date, including Charli XCX and her Ed Sheeran.
