Peter Gabriel new album
The tour supports Gabriel’s first full-length album ‘i/o’ since 2011’s ‘New Blood’.
So far he has released a trio of singles “Panopticum”, “The Court” and “Playing for Time”.
Gabriel says the single “Playing For Time” talks about “time, death, and the idea that each of us has a planet full of memories hidden within our brains.”
At the time of publication, there is no release date for the new record.
That said, Gabriel is known for putting music out there based on the lunar calendar. According to StereoBoard, “‘Playing For Time’ is no exception, set to the full moon in March.”
So keep an eye on your lunar calendar, and it may be the day you finally hear the Peter Gabriel release you’ve been waiting for over ten years.
