Holmquist to be interviewed for Executive Director of Human Resources at WIU

Macomb, Illinois – One candidate will be interviewed on Tuesday, June 20 for the open position of Executive Director of Human Resources at Western Illinois University.
CityLink’s Director of Human Resources, Chris Holmquist, will visit the campus on June 20th for a series of interviews with campus leaders and university staff.
Holmquist has been CityLink’s Human Resources Director since February 2023. Prior to that, from 2015 until 2021 he was the founder and sole proprietorship operator of About It, LLC. From 2014 until 2015 she served as Director of Human Resources Operations for the Information Technology Division in the Colorado Governor’s Office. She served as Human Resources Supervisor for the Colorado Department of Human Services from 2005 to 2013. From 1999 to 2005 she served as Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Support Services. From 1998 until 1999 she served as an advisor to Utah State University’s Student-Athlete Support She Service.
Holmquist received a bachelor’s degree in sports business and a master’s degree in sports management from Wichita State University.
