Finally something that keeps me going until Spotify is wrapped
Spotify Wrapped is one of the biggest pop culture events of the year, but waiting a full 12 months is excruciating. Why is he so fond of looking at well-presented listening data, at least once these days he feels he can’t go to Instagram without seeing Receiptify. And now we have Spotify Pie.
Here’s what we know about Spotify’s pie chart, including how to access your pie chart.
What is the Spotify pie chart?
Pie charts aren’t actually a feature created by Spotify. A tool developed by UCLA student Darren Huang. Using dates from your Spotify profile, Spotify Pie lists his most listened-to artists over the course of the month, and sorts the genres best suited to your tastes.
Via Spotify Pie
You can see which artists belong to which genres by tapping on certain pies. Genres that make up the pie include rock, K-pop, hop-hop, and niche genres like cyberpunk and thrashwave.
How do I create a pie chart for Spotify?
Creating your own music pie chart is easy. Just open Huang’s website and log in to your account. You can then visit his website from your desktop or mobile. All you need to use it is a Spotify account.
