Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner has never appeared on a podcast in his life…until now.

He appeared on the podcast “The Show” with Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman for a must-listen interview.

• Mets struggle: They can’t play basic baseball. Buck Showalter has made a statement and he needs to bench players who have made the kind of blunders we’ve seen. With the exception of David Robertson, most of this team has performed below expectations.
