Flight delays at both Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field are beginning to ease after being temporarily suspended Wednesday due to weather.
According to Flight Aware, Dallas Love Field Airport is experiencing departure delays of up to an hour, with all arriving flights waiting at the departure airport until 2:45pm. The flight to DFW was also canceled, but as of 14:15, departure is permitted. Inbound delays at DFW are approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes behind schedule. Departure delay is 75-90 minutes.
NBC 5’s team of weather experts warned of possible widespread severe thunderstorms in northern Texas on Wednesday. The Storm Prediction Center has DFW areas included in the Level 3 (Enhanced) threat of Wednesday’s severe weather. Massive hail, destructive winds, and some tornadoes are a concern.
