Grammy Award-winning rock band Greta Van Fleet star catcher World tour starting in Nashville on July 24th. To celebrate the release of his third studio album, star catcher, The band will perform at iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York, The Forum in Los Angeles and OVO Arena Wembley in London. All tour dates can be found below.
Tickets for the Electric Tomb Presale will go on sale in the US and Europe on Wednesday, April 19th at 10am local time. Additional presales in the US and Europe will be available throughout the week before general sales begin at 10am local time on Friday, April 21st.
The Starcatcher World Tour includes support from special guests Kaleo, Surf Curse, Mount Joy and Black Honey.
The band recently released the album’s first single, “Meeting The Master”, to critical acclaim. The album was written and composed by lead singer Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka, bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka, drummer Danny Wagner, and Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlisle). it was done. Recorded at his legendary RCA studio in Nashville, the band utilized a spacious recording room to capture the pure energy of their world-renowned live performances.
“We didn’t have to force ourselves to write or be enthusiastic, because everything that happened was very instinctive.” Jake says. “If anything, the record is our point of view, summarizing where we are as a group and as individuals as musicians.”
Through a collection of 10 songs, the band explores the duality of fantasy and reality, the contrast between light and darkness. “We had the idea that we wanted to tell these stories to build the universe. Wagner says. “We wanted to showcase the characters, the motifs, these ideas that come up here and there throughout our careers, throughout this world.”
The band adapted several concepts from their acclaimed sophomore album The Battle at Garden’s Gate and incorporated them into Starcatcher, but Sam’s take on the big idea for the new record instead hinted at a new beginning. I’m here. “When I imagine the world of Starcatcher, I think of space.” he says. “We ask a lot of questions like, ‘Where are we from?’ or ‘What are we doing here?’ It is also a question of what is consciousness and where did it come from? “
