vice president Kamala Harris As a means of embodying her current journey across the African continent, she has teamed up with Spotify for an official playlist of African music. billboard can be revealed exclusively.

The playlist, titled “My Travels: Ghana, Tanzania, and Zambia,” is being streamed live on the streaming platform and, according to its description, is intended to “amplify the sounds with artists from my travels” in these countries. Designed to The Vice President will arrive in Ghana on Sunday (March 26), making his first visit to Africa during his tenure, and will visit Tanzania on Wednesday, Zambia on Friday, and return to the United States on Sunday.

According to Spotify, VP Harris worked closely with streamers to curate the playlist. Tanzanian and Tanzanian-American artists such as Harmonize, Zuchu and Arikiva. Zambian and Zambian-American artists such as Chile One Mr. Zambia, Yo Maps and Chef 187.

On Monday, Harris will visit Vibrate Space. Vibrate Space is a Ghanaian music workstation opened by local collective Surf Ghana last October, featuring audio recording, mixing, mastering and editing equipment, as well as consulting and masterclass sessions. Spotify helped launch Vibrate Space last year. The VP will be meeting with local artists (including those featured on her playlist) at the studio.
