Exceleration Music has appointed former Spotify executive David Ecker. Former Gimme Radio Rachel Cunningham took on a senior role.
Ecker will serve as Label Development Manager for Excellation, managing day-to-day relationships with the company’s label and artist partners.
Ecker previously worked on the artist and label partnerships team at streaming giant Spotify and most recently served as artist and label partnership manager for the US Independents.
At Spotify, Ecker led creative campaigns for Phoebe Bridgers, Bon Iver, Mitsuki, Flying Lotus and Porter Robinson. He has also developed partnerships with leading independent labels and distributors, creating and co-running the ‘Digs Jazz’ series, demonstrating his expertise in jazz.
