Em Rusciano fears her podcast may be cancelled after Spotify exit

Em Rusciano issued another plea to fans to subscribe to his podcast after leaving Spotify.

The 44-year-old media personality, whose production costs and wages were all previously covered by the streaming giant, has had to turn to crowdfunding after leaving the company.

She set a goal of 4,000 subscribers for a monthly fee of $9.95 and an annual season pass fee of $89.95, but has so far only reached 1,900 subscribers.

Despite earning about $15,000 a month from 1,900 subscribers, Em said it may not be enough to keep the Emsolation podcast going.

“I feel a little weird mentioning subscriptions all the time. I know it annoys a lot of people, but I remember trying to make something myself,” she wrote on Instagram Wednesday. told his followers.
