Em Luciano is once again begging fans to subscribe to his podcast as he continues to struggle to get enough paying users to keep his podcast alive.

The 44-year-old media personality has repeatedly pleaded with fans after her departure from Spotify, the latest of which was announced on Saturday.

In a video posted to Instagram, Em told her followers that she desperately needed a break, but that she couldn’t unless she signed up for the $89.95-a-year podcast Emsolation Extra.

“So I’ve been planning, fussing, figuring something out, researching, attending meetings, and now I feel like I’ve got some momentum, so I feel like I need a break… I can’t do it now,” Em continued.

Her production costs and wages were previously covered entirely by streaming giant Spotify, but she had to part ways with the company and rely on crowdfunding.

She set a goal of 4,000 subscribers for a monthly fee of $9.95 or an annual season pass fee of $89.95, but so far has only 1,900 subscribers.

Em said even though she still earns about $15,000 a month from her 1,900 subscribers, it may not be enough to keep Emsolation’s podcast running. .
