Ellie Goulding has announced a series of tour dates for her fifth studio album, Higher Than Heaven.
The 36-year-old singer’s new album is set for release on April 7, and has so far released the singles ‘By The End Of The Night’, ‘Like A Saviour’, ‘Easy Lover’ and ‘Let It Die’. I’m here.
That release will be followed by a 12-day tour across the UK and Europe, starting in Dublin on October 16th.
She has also performed in other major cities such as Glasgow, Manchester, London, Paris and Milan, before wrapping up in Berlin on November 7th.
Golding, who is also the United Nations Global Environment Ambassador, added to the announcement:
“But we are also keenly aware of the damage that touring can do to our planet.
“We want to continue the great conservation work we did on our Brightest Blue tour, but this time we want to be even more ambitious for the planet.
“Can’t wait to see you all. Sending lots of love, Ellie x.”
The new album is her first since 2020’s chart-topping Brightest Blue.
Goulding first reached the top of the charts with her debut album Lights in 2010 and continued her success with the 2012 release of Halcyon.
Her third studio album Delirium peaked at #3 in 2015.
Last year, the singer received the Presidential Award at the BMI London Awards for her contribution to music and songwriting.
On Thursday, it was also announced that the BRIT Award winners will headline concerts at this summer’s AIG Women’s Open in Walton Heath, Surrey.
This is the first time the event will feature live music as part of an effort to attract new audiences to the championship.
Goulding will perform with other acts on Saturday night at the August 12th event.
she said:
“Improving women’s sport is something I’m a big champion in, so I can’t wait to be surrounded by inspiring women in August.
“I’m looking forward to meeting you all.”
Pre-sales for her Higher Than Heaven tour will begin at 9am on April 4th, and general sales will begin on Thursday, April 6th at 9am.
