Movies they inspired
Considering that there are many works that became models for this movie, such as “The Goonies”, assist me, and breakfast club, When the films came out long before these young actors were born, I asked them what kind of movies they watched as inspiration before shooting. It hurts a bit to be called an ‘old movie’, but it was nice to know that I tried a great movie.
Billy: These were released before we were born, but I love those old movies. i love old music i love old movies i love it all. Especially when I was just watching the performance of the actors. I just see other actors when they play their role in the film and how they engage with people. In acting, I also incorporate life experiences with actual people.
Isaiah: saw assist me Preparing for this movie. And I watched it to find out who Caleb is in a relationship with in the movie. I felt like he was related to the River Phoenix character and Wil Wheaton’s character. I tried to add a bit of their character to Caleb to make him more balanced as a character.I love assist me And all the old adventure movies too. I’ve always been a fan of his 90’s and his 80’s, so it was really fun to see those movies.
Work with Kid Cudi
Kid Cudi plays Caleb’s father in Crater, which is implied that Isaiah works very closely with Caleb. Of course, everyone wanted to know what it was like to work with him. Isaiah’s answer did not disappoint her.
Isaiah: Working with Mr. Scott, also known as Kid Cudi, was a great experience. We take the same approach to shooting scenes. We give ourselves the freedom to explore them in a way. We liked rehearsing between takes and staying in character between breaks. Also he is a great artist.I have day and night On repeat to this day. We bonded through our love of music and making music. I like making beats with my phone and computer. I showed them to him and he let me know what he thought. I was very happy to be able to work with someone who connected with me through things other than acting.
Connect and go on an adventure
of crater, these kids get together and have some wild adventures. They form what feels like an inseparable bond. So did they form that bond in real life too? And did they go on any adventures with Offset? Both answers are yes!
Billy: we haven’t spoken for a long time. But yeah, we started that way. It was great when it started. And we remained friends all along. We just haven’t spoken in years.
Thomas: i love that question. There are many crazy stories. It’s so wild. After all this filming, her call time was 7:00, and it was over by 6:00. Since I was the oldest, he had to stay an hour later than you guys almost every day. But we were together on set the whole time. And when we went home, we were always together. It felt like we were having a sleepover.
Isaiah: We used to go swimming and play paintball with the staff almost every weekend, which was really fun. We live in different places across America, so we haven’t been able to meet in person for a long time. 2 years.
Orson: I felt that there was a brotherly power relationship. It was really nice to be able to connect with people on set and outside.
Thomas: Orson and my characters Booney and Marcus are really close friends. Me and Orson have a lot of scenes that are just him and me. Then there are scenes with Billy, McKenna and Isaiah. Orson and I went to the rec room that day.we play Injustice along with other video games. We were listening to music and just soaking up the atmosphere for hours.
Billy: I forgot about recroom. That was a nice room.
Thomas: I can honestly say this is the best job in the world. We played and had a great time and got paid. Orson and I definitely think our characters are very connected, and we’ve had the opportunity to have our own connections off-screen as well. It was so wonderful. I will never forget the days of Orson and Thomas.
Isaiah: I had a lot of adventures off the set as well. As I said earlier, we played paintball almost every weekend. We lived in an apartment complex and used to go to the pool all the time. I feel like my neighbors were upset with how loud we were. Since then, we have also gone on many adventures throughout Louisiana. We went to New Orleans for a wetlands tour. You have to feed the crocodile. I had to try different foods. I tried fried crocodile and frog for the first time. Alligator was good. The frog had an interesting texture and taste.
Orson: I remember staying out late into the night with all of you.And I remember Billy playing me an eggplant Illmatic first time.and play me new york state of mind. It stuck in my mind.
Thomas: We are about to unlock your memories. Billy, Orson, Isaiah, and I went to the pool with pool noodles and had a battle.
Isaiah: Go all out in battle.
Thomas: It was like a brutal battle with Shakespeare or Macbeth’s pool noodles. And then we’ll team up and play against each other. And it was wild.
