Death Cab for Cutie are set to resume their UK tour after canceling a string of dates due to illness.
Earlier this week, the band’s gigs in Edinburgh and Glasgow were called off after frontman Ben Gibbard caught a cold that affected his vocal cords. have confirmed that the show, which was due to take place in Manchester on , will not take place.
However, the band confirmed on Instagram that all three of their remaining shows will be underway, starting tomorrow (March 27) in Brighton and heading to London over the next two nights.
The band wrote: Thank you for all the good luck, support and patience these past few days. ”

Meanwhile, Gibbard previously announced that Death Cab and The Postal Service would embark on a joint-headlining 20th anniversary US tour later this year.
He will join both bands for the tour and Death Cab will play the full 2003 album ‘Transatlanticism’ and The Postal Service’s ‘Give Up’ each day of the tour.
The joint tour kicks off at Cross Insurance Arena in Portland on September 8th and stops at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Berkeley’s Greek Theater and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl through mid-October. You can purchase the remaining tickets here.
