We chose “Lord of Ruins” as the first single because it combines both melodic and aggressive melodies present throughout the album. Therefore, we thought that this represented well what was expected of the work as a whole. It is also the last song on the record and has a very impactful meaning. This wraps up the overall concept of the album and is perfectly in line with the concept of the artwork we had in mind.
