Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres’ continues until the band announces November dates across Asia and Australia. The band has announced new dates in Tokyo, Kaohsiung, Jakarta, Perth and Kuala Lumpur.
The newly announced show will see Coldplay perform in several cities for the first time, including Kaohsiung, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. The Perth show will also be Coldplay’s first tour of Western Australia since 2009.
Amy Shirk and Thelma Plum will support Coldplay during their performance in Perth. Support acts for the remaining new dates will be announced in the coming months.
Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour is already making headlines around the world, with six shows at the Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti in Buenos Aires from October 25th to November 8th. It grossed $49.69 million at the box office, and ran six more at the Estadio Cielo Pompeu de Toledo in Buenos Aires. It grossed $40.1 million at the box office in São Paulo, Brazil from March 10 to March 18, according to a report filed with pollsterbox office.
For this tour, Coldplay has partnered with DHL as their official logistics partner, with the band aiming to reduce their touring emissions by 50%.
