Cheryl has revealed whether she will be releasing new music.
The former Girls Aloud star, 39, is currently enjoying a career change starring in her first theatrical or acting role, 2:22 A Ghost Story.
She was questioned about her future in pop by a loyal fan waiting outside the Lyric Theater on Tuesday.
And the star hinted at what she has planned once her run as Jenny in the production ends soon.
In a chat with a fan on Instagram, Cheryl was asked about returning to music, but wasn’t sure if she would.
She asked: “What am I going to do?” One fan replied, “Music. Hint hint.”
Cheryl then said to them: “The industry has completely changed and I don’t know if I can fit in.”
Last week, Cheryl’s co-star Jake Wood said the theater newcomer was “fearless” in her approach to her West End debut.
The 50-year-old former EastEnders actor reprized his role as Ben in the supernatural thriller after People Just Do Nothing’s Hugo Chegwin pulled out of the show due to illness during rehearsals.
Cheryl plays Jenny in the play, and Jake claims she is “remarkable” given her lack of acting experience.
He told The Mirror:
“It’s pretty amazing to see someone who’s never acted before take the West End stage. She’s in the spotlight with all that pressure.
“Her resilience is truly amazing.
Last week, the singer was horrified after a fan jumped her as she headed for the stage door.
User Cheryldreamsx shared on Twitter the moment Cheryl was stunned when the camera flashed.
they wrote: Didn’t realize my flashing continued! Sorry Cheryl”, before adding: “The flash followed and she jumped a mile… I was like, ‘Are you okay? Did you see a ghost?’
A fellow fan of the Girls Aloud star said he was playing the video because it was so funny.
