Idaho Falls, Idaho (KIFI) — The Eastern Idaho University (CEI) Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Thursday to interview candidates to fill the vacancy left by Trustee Craig Miller.
The Board interviewed the following three candidates who applied and live in Zone 4.
- Cecil Perez — Community Advocates and Volunteers.Plans to return to CEI as a student this fall
- Ethan Huffman — Communications and government affairs specialists.Current Leader of National Security Strategy Communications at Idaho National Laboratory
- Marsha McDaniel — Former diplomat with experience in government, industry and foreign affairs.Currently Senior Advisor, International Affairs, Idaho National Laboratory
“We are delighted to have three candidates who bring unique perspectives and experiences to the CEI Trustee role,” said President Park Price.
The Board will elect the new Zone 4 Trustees at a special meeting on Monday, April 10th. The new Zone 4 Trustees may be sworn in at their next regular meeting on April 25, 2023.
