Not only did the troubled Cards beat the Boston Red Sox 9-1 in prime time, but an emotional greeting from mom Kumi Notova in a pre-game interview in honor of Mother’s Day received.

Ms. Notorvar was stunned by Mama Notorvar during an interview with ESPN’s Eduardo Perez, and the Mother’s Day moment was truly tear-jerking.

Perez was perfectly prepared for a surprise. As he flips through childhood photos of El Segundo’s slugger, he talks about the influence of Notebar and her mother.
A grinning Kumi Notova appeared on screen in a Cardinals jersey as Notova spoke about her close relationship with her mother. Usually there is room for sympathy for those wearing such uniforms, but on Sunday it was the centerpiece of a special moment.
Nootvar couldn’t believe her mother was on live with her and had to double check with Perez.
“Are you live now?” Mr. Notorbar asked the ESPN host.
It was a special day, and Nutvar didn’t mind getting emotional when he saw his mother on national television. But if you ask her, she’ll tell you that Lars really is a “crybaby.”
“You make me emotional, dude.”

Lars Notova went on to talk about the influence the 25-year-old international sensation has had on her after winning the WBC in Japan.
Kumi Notova responded kindly to the flowers she received from her son on Sunday.
Standing in for her mother, the half-Japanese mother reminded her of how grateful she was for being the best teammate of her life.
“Thank you for everything… I love you too,” Lars said.
