One day, when you came home, during your lunch break, you heard that Busted was going back on tour.
Well, it’s true. This September, Boy Her band will go on tour to mark her 20th anniversary. Armed with the biggest hits, Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis and James Bourne bring his 2000s pop-punk of good old days to concert halls across the UK.
The trio will play 15 shows at major venues including London’s O2, Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena and Birmingham’s Utilita Arena. The group will also be joined by his three supportive guests from Hanson, the New Hope Club and The Tyne.
The 20th anniversary tour announcement comes alongside news that Busted will be re-releasing versions of some of their most popular tracks. All 15 songs will be released from the 14th (Friday).
The group also promises further collaborations with other bands such as All Time Low and McFly. Kids of the 2000s probably remember Busted and his McFly collaboration in 2013, going on a series of tours as McBusted.

But even before that, Busted had already established themselves as icons of the 2000s. With songs like Year 3000, Crashed the Wedding, and even Thunderbirds are Go!, they represented the sassy, upbeat style of music of the era.
Before disbanding in 2005, the trio secured four UK number one singles, won two BRIT Awards and sold over five million records. Since then, not much has changed for decades, as the band released two more studio albums in 2016 and 2019, and toured regularly.
Now they are on tour again. I look forward to meeting you there. Find out how to get your tickets here.
