Bruce Springsteen He is honored by his home state of New Jersey.
governor Phil Murphy have Declared The Boss’s birthday, September 23rd, is officially known as Bruce Springsteen Day in the Garden State.
In announcing the news, Murphy said:
The declaration was made the day after Springsteen, e street band They wrapped up the first leg of their North American tour at New Jersey’s Prudential Center with a set featuring two special songs.
The blues kicked off the night with the song “Local Hero” by Lucky Town. This performance marked the first time he performed the song on this tour, and the first since 2013.
Springsteen also added a cover for Tom Waits The famous song “Jersey Girl” also appeared on the tour for the first time. Previously, Bruce hadn’t played a track with the E Street Band since 2016.
The Prudential show was the last concert of the leg, but Bruce is back in the US for another show starting August 9th and 10th in Chicago, with dates confirmed through December. But next, he and the band will head to Europe for gigs starting April 28th in Barcelona, Spain.
