All-Star Trio Boisenias will have 14 headliner dates this summer, in addition to festival gigs including an appearance at Coachella and a concert under the Re:SET banner previously announced for the group. bottom.
The new 14-date opening act includes Carly Rae Jepsen, Broken Social Scene, Illuminati Hotties, Bertie’s Strange and Claude.
In addition to outdoor appearances in Phoenix, Houston, Pittsburgh and Salt Lake, the show will include some of America’s most iconic performances at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado on August 5th and the Gorge in Washington on July 29th. All of the added concerts are outdoors and will take place in June, July and August, with one exception. Early April will see one indoor show in the expanded lineup: a Southern California gig at the Fox Theater in Pomona on April 12, and the Coachella Festival on April 15 and 22. Boygenius members are Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julian Baker, all acclaimed solo artists. The trio will release their first full-length album titled ‘The Record’ this Friday on Interscope, as the long-awaited follow-up to their independently released EP in 2018.
Prior to this announcement, most of Boygenius’ tour schedule was devoted to headlining shows for the Re:SET concert series, which tours each weekend in June. Some of the newly added June shows fit in on weekdays between the previously announced weekend gigs.
