South Korean band BLACKPINK singer Jisoo has broken the record for largest Spotify debut by a female K-Pop soloist with her new album ME.
The ME singer has made her long-awaited solo debut following Jennie’s SOLO in 2018 and Rosé in 2021. Her solo album R features the tracks All Eyes On Me and Gone.
The youngest member of the group, Lisa debuted in the same year with the title track LALISA and the B-side track MONEY of the same name.
Within 24 hours of its release, the title track Flower has garnered a staggering 4,674,337 filtered streams on Spotify. With this, BLACKPINK’s girlfriend Jisoo set a new record for the number of first-day streams of a song by a female K-pop soloist in the history of the platform.
Blackpink is a popular South Korean girl group that debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment. The members are Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa. The group quickly gained international fame, making him one of the most successful her K-pop groups of all time.
