After “Superhuman” was well received by the public and critics alike, Bishop Briggs has just released the music video for his latest single “Baggage” and a new EP. when it’s all darkscheduled to be released on June 23rdAlong with the announcement of Don’t Look Down Tour with Mr. Wife.
In the music video, Bishop and other characters struggle with depression, express anger painted with blue dots on their bodies, and the music expresses a sense of grief and catharsis. Bishop commented that the song was inspired by her grief that she hides in herself. Outwardly, she said, “After just one glorious socially acceptable moment, the moment I was alone I was dissociated and completely unable to function.”
She says that these two secrets inspired her to write this song. “This ‘Baggage’ music video wanted to show that even if someone looks okay on the surface, our blue circle — our trauma — can be carefully hidden,” she said. hopes viewers will “know that they are not alone and that there is a community of people waiting to help.”Below is the tracklist for her new EP when it all gets dark.
