The Black Label has confirmed that Big Bang member Taeyang will be releasing a new song next month.
On March 28, several South Korean media outlets reported, citing industry insiders, that the K-pop idol will release a new solo album in April.
His agency, The Black Label, confirmed the report, saying the singer will release a solo record next month. E-dailyBut it also says “Nothing [regarding the release] Details are yet to be determined. ”
This release will be Taeyang’s first since releasing the collaboration single “Vibe” with BTS’ Jimin in January this year. The song was her first solo song by a Big Bang member in over six years, following 2017’s “White Night.”
In a previous interview with NMEIdol shared that he “looks forward to working with other artists on my next project” and teased that “there will be albums in the future.”
In December of last year, The Black Label announced that Taeyang had signed an exclusive contract with them after leaving YG Entertainment, The Black Label’s parent company and longtime agency.
The management office said, “Teddy and Taeyang have been working together as producers and artists for a long time, but they trust each other through music and start a new activity with The Black Label.”
YG Entertainment also emphasized, “Taeyang is a member of BIGBANG and a member of the YG family.”
