Television and online broadcasters aren’t the only ones trying to grab attention during Ramadan.

Music streaming platforms have been steadily building content over the last few years to deliver strong content aligned with the holy month.

Some even created their own Ramadan channels and pages, stuffed with themed playlists.

Here’s what you can expect from the major platforms throughout the month.

Angami

Abu Dhabi company Angami is expected to go all out when it comes to Ramadan, as it is the only streaming platform launched and developed in the region.

Again, they offer a fun selection of themed playlists and podcasts.

Music and TV fans should check out the Titrat Ramadan playlist to hear some of the season’s biggest drama theme songs.

Meanwhile, the Minajat collection includes spiritually inspired instrumental and vocal songs by the likes of British singer Sami Yusuf and Yemeni artist Abdulqader Qawza.

A selection of useful podcasts is also available, covering practical tips for staying healthy while fasting during Ramadan and cooking healthy iftar meals.

Spotify

Spotify also impresses with its revamped service with a focus on personalized and dynamic content.

Your Ramadan 2023 playlist will be updated regularly based on user selections for the month, featuring highlights through quotes and clips from daily Ramadan-themed podcasts.

These include ramadan eventsa series of short stories and character studies inspired by Arab and Islamic history.

Others include an anthology of Arabic short stories Juha, Sinbad and One Thousand and One Nights From Dubai production company Finyal Media.
