Bartees Strange has unveiled his new single ‘Daily News’ and announced a series of tour dates that will bring his acclaimed live shows around the world.
Originally a bonus track from the physical release of his famous sophomore album, Farm-to-table, The Daily News, is a great example of Strange’s style. Beginning with a fantastical soundscape of guitar plucks and melodious vocals of “hmm”, it evolves into a massively cathartic release. At the climax, Strange’s voice is lifted by a wall of booming drums, solo saxophones, and well-mixed harmonies that undoubtedly convey the 34-year-old’s ability to imbue his work with deep emotion.
