Siri’s intelligence could be upgraded with technology like GPT
The host discusses how the AI chatbot revolution and large language models like ChatGPT will impact Apple. It could lead to better Siri, but at this point it’s not clear how Apple will implement the technology in the long term.
Spotify had more details this week, but the music streaming service had more news this week following the launch of Apple Music Classical. Spotify’s long-awaited HiFi tier promises to arrive eventually, but in the meantime there are newer, his TikTok-like formats for the service that people can understand.
Also this week, Samsung got involved in, and presumably embroiled in, the computational photography debate due to the way it processes images of the Moon. The end result is certainly a hoax, but it could also be the future of smartphone photography.
