The indie rockers from Boston, best known as air traffic controllers, are back on tour for the first time in almost four years. The nine-day tour will allow the band to showcase songs from their latest self-released album. dash.

“I made it over time dash — No shows, just writing and recording. That was our choice,” says ATC leader Dave Munro. “Then the world stopped. There was no tour, nothing, no choice. “When I was 20, I moved out of the barracks and into an apartment with two fellow air traffic controllers,” he recalls. “Getting out of the naval base was a life-changing event. I was writing my first song, pursuing a career in aviation, and everything seemed to be going well.”
The band’s exclusive dates begin July 13th in Denver, Colorado, and tour Kansas City, Madison, Wisconsin, and Chicago, ending August 19th in Wellfleet, Massachusetts.
“We have come through the changes in and around this band and come out stronger,” Munro added. “The best way to directly show our appreciation to our fans is to give everything we have to those who have stood by us and build it back up.”
