Internationally renowned veteran Nigerian Fuji artist King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, better known as Kwam 1 or K1 de Ultimate, recently trended online after announcing the title of his upcoming album Timeless. I was.

K1 de Ultimate has been accused of copying Davido’s album title and trying to capitalize on the Afrobeat singer’s current popularity to promote an upcoming 10-track studio project.

Davido recently returned to the music scene after a seven-month hiatus with his new album Timeless, out March 31, 2023.

Using the same title as Davido’s album wasn’t the only criticism the Kwam 1 announcement endured. The label also included the logo of the broken shackles of Nigeria’s incoming president Asiwaju Bola Tinub.
